Welcome to the debut edition of the blog for the City of Hamsterville. News will be posted here from now on.
In this edition, the buzz word is EXPANSION....EXPANSION....EXPANSION!!! Yes, Hamsterville is expanding again. This time we're not only expanding the East side, but the city's North side as well.
The city's East side expansion project will ultimately DOUBLE the size of the city in terms of East-West travel. This is being done to accomondate building once it commences in earnest. It will give people more room to build plus it will more easily accomondate buildings. The city's East side will move from 555E to 1000E.
The city's North side expansion is because Retsmah's Road North @ 5150N doesn't go past 555E. However, Wayne's Way, which is just a little ways North of there, will be expanded to reach 1000E.
It has not yet been decided which roads will be extended from their current ending point at Retsmah's Road East (555E). But it looks as though it will work like this...
* Zephyr Road @ 4850N (already done in 2002)
* East Langley Boulevard @ 4867N
* East Archuletta Street @ 4900N
* Matthew Fox Lane @ 4957E
* East Hamsterville Boulevard @ 5000N
* East Oak Street @ 5089N*
* Branson Avenue @ 5100N
* East Oak Street may not be expanded. This is subject to change.
Therre will be NO North-South roads aside from the road already created at 621E. Of course, as building occurs, roads will be created as needed and where warranted.
Of course this will mean that the location of Hamsterville Ground Zero will be changed. Just where is the $64,000 question right now as it still has to be calculated. But we'll keep you posted.
